Airworthiness, Safety and Funding

In the CAF, Safety is our prime concern. Although built in the 1940s these aircraft are maintained and certified to current Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) standards and crewed by FAA licensed and CAF approved pilots.

75% of your airplane ride donation is tax deductible. Flights are restrictions for passengers ages 12 to 16 years: one parent's signature and CAF member as signature witness with CAF member witness staying on ground during flight.
